Register for Artemis ROADS II Professional Development

We are excited to announce that registration is now open for Artemis ROADS II Online Professional Development!

Who is this for?

Northwest Earth and Space Science Pathways (NESSP) ROADS Professional Development is designed for formal and informal educators interested in learning about hands-on, standards-aligned, NASA-inspired lessons and activities. In particular, we will be training educators on using the ROADS Companion Course, developed to support NESSP’s annual ROADS National Challenge. Next year’s challenge will be focused on the Artemis II mission. To learn more about challenges and companion course lessons, please visit https://nwessp.org/programs/student-challenges/. Newbies and experienced ROADS educators are welcome!

What is the structure, time commitment, and support?

We have designed this PD to be flexible! Artemis ROADS II Professional Development will consist of three 2-hour live sessions. Times for each session are listed in the table below. Participants can select times that work best for them but must complete Sessions 1, 2, and 3 in order. The PD also includes virtual asynchronous work through a Canvas course that must be completed before, in-between, and after each session. Educators who complete all aspects of the course will earn an estimated 13 clock hours. Stipends and supplies are available.
