Artemis ROADS Unit 4 Lesson 1: Human and Machine Communication
This lesson’s guiding question is, “What are the different ways robotic systems communicate, and what are their limitations?“.
Lesson Summary:
Students will explore various aspects of wireless communication, including how NASA communicates with technologies in space. Then, they will connect that knowledge to the technologies used for the Artemis ROADS Challenge (drone, robot) to observe how those systems communicate, including possible limitations. Finally, they will compare their robot to the VIPER robotic Moon mission. Note this lesson includes time to assemble the robot.
