Please tell us about the demographics of students at your school or organization. We are funded by a federal grant that requires us to report this information.
If needed, you can look up information for your school on the National Center for Education Statistics: https://nces.ed.gov/ccd/schoolsearch/.
We understand that some educators work at unlisted schools, homeschool, or other organizations. In that case, estimate the demographics of your students when possible.
School or Organization Locale Classification (If your school or organization is not in the NCES database, you can estimate the locale classification using the definitions provided in this document.)
NESSP is funded by a federal grant from NASA's Science Activation Program. The materials provided for the Artemis ROADS III Professional Development Workshop are loaned to educators and must be used either in the workshop or with K-12 students participating in NESSP activities. These activities include the National ROADS Challenge, the ROADS Companion Course, and the summer Mini-Missions.
If educators complete the Professional Development but do not, or cannot, engage students in one of these programs, they must return the non-consumable supplies that were loaned to them. This ensures that these supplies remain available for other educators participating in NESSP programs.
NESSP includes a return label with all shipped items to facilitate the return process. If the label is misplaced, educators can request a new one at https://nwessp.org/supply-return/.
Educators who have already received loaned materials cannot request duplicates (for example, an extra robot). This supply request is only for the professional development workshop, and each educator only needs one set of supplies. If you need more materials for your classroom later, NESSP can provide them through its Companion Course Classroom loans.
We appreciate your participation in NESSP programs and your cooperation in helping us support and inspire as many students and educators as possible.
