Icy Worlds Unit 4: Robotics and Drones

Lessons in this unit address the question,

“How can robotic systems aid in the exploration of our Earth and other solar system objects?”

Lesson Guiding Questions:

• Lesson 1: What are different ways robotic systems communicate, and what are their limitations?
• Lesson 2: How can we modify and test our drone to make sure it can complete its mission objectives?
• Lesson 3: How can different programming commands be used to help the rover complete its objectives?
• Lesson 4: How does bringing all parts of a complex mission together for rehearsal lead to better mission outcomes?
