Recognition for Registered Teams:

Artemis ROADS Levels of Achievement

To Achieve Launchpad Status:

Registered teams must complete the following by February 15th:

  • Register your team
  • Make a team Mission Patch (MO-08)
  • Start and make an entry in your Mission Development Log (MO-01)
  • Complete any other MO!

Recognition: Get a call out on NESSP Social Media!

To Achieve Low Earth Orbit:

Registered teams must complete the following by March 15th:

  • Complete the Launchpad requirements
  • Complete an additional MO! Your team’s choice!

Recognition: Get a NESSP Package!

To Achieve Lunar Orbit Orbit:

Registered teams must complete the following by May 10th:

  • Complete an additional two MO’s [total of 4 of MO-02 to MO-07]
  • Participate in at least one NASA Expert Talk

Recognition: Teams are invited to meet an astronaut (virtually) and to a hub event, where teams can complete their final mission (MO-09).

To Make a Lunar Landing:

Registered teams must complete the following by May 10th:

  • Complete all MO’s, including the final challenge at a hub event or virtually
  • Participate in at least two NASA Expert Talks

Recognition: Teams are invited to meet an astronaut (virtually) and to a hub event, where teams can complete their final mission (MO-09). Teams are also eligible for a drawing to go to Kennedy Space Center!
